There has never been a more critical time to focus on getting professional learning right, given the immense academic needs of so many students following the pandemic. Unfortunately, many educators are still in a 鈥渟it and get鈥 environment when it comes to professional learning.鈥

In the last several decades, the impact of PD has moved from a yard stick that once measured whether a teacher used the learned strategy in the classroom to one that measured its impact on student learning. More recently, it鈥檚 clear that professional learning and its effect on student learning still has a long way to go.鈥

In this A Seat at the Table, moderator Peter DeWitt will talk to guests about creating successful professional learning that has bearing on student academic success and high engagement for educators.
