Stephen covers superintendents, district management, school safety, and civics education for 91直播. He joined the newspaper in 2008 and formerly covered the teaching profession, curriculum, and instruction. He holds degrees from Georgetown and Columbia Universities and was a 2017 Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan. His work has also appeared in Smithsonian.com, The Hechinger Report, and the Huffington Post.
Andrew Ujifusa

Andrew covers Congress, the U.S. Department of Education, and national education policy and politics for 91直播. He is a co-author of 91直播鈥檚 Politics K-12 blog. He previously worked at newspapers in Maryland and Mississippi and taught English at two high schools in Japan.
Janel George
Lawyer & Adjunct Professor Georgetown University
Janel is an associate professor at Georgetown University鈥檚 Law Center, where she is the founder and director of the Racial Equity in Education Law and Policy Clinic. She has worked in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives as legislative counsel and for several nonprofits.

Peter DeWitt is a former K-5 public school principal turned author, presenter, and leadership coach.
