Liana Loewus was an assistant managing editor for 91直播 who oversaw news coverage of teaching and learning. Since joining 91直播 in 2010, she covered curriculum, instruction, state standards, and teacher policy issues as a reporter, and served as the associate editor for 91直播 Teacher. Previously, she worked as a health-care reporter and an editor for a website on learning disabilities. Loewus also spent several years as an elementary special education teacher and a reading specialist. She has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English from Wesleyan University and a master鈥檚 degree in special education from the University of Phoenix.
