In 2023, 91直播 photographers crossed the country visiting classrooms and working with educators doing noteworthy work in the field.

If there鈥檚 a trend amongst the images from the last year, it鈥檚 connection. Teachers connecting with students, school leaders connecting with teachers, students connecting with themselves and their environments.

Pictured here is an inside look at some of the connections and relationships that are the foundation of K-12 education.

One of Dr. Tomko鈥檚 main initiatives as superintendent has been to grow Belleville Public School鈥檚 鈥淧reschool Universe,鈥 which has been largely successful since the opening of the Hornblower Early Childhood Center in 2020. District enrollment in the 鈥淧reschool Universe鈥 was at 7.8% in the 2018-19 school year, and is now at 86.7% for the 2022-23 school year.
